[For SweetFX 2.0 - Added by x-ray] when i looked at all the presets in here and saw that K-putt'e's was a very nice correction, but there was something missing for me like a decent hdr, bloom and the other's needed color correction because they were too bright, too red or the colors were great but a total fantasy world to me, once again, i decided to put some hours of work into it and deliver a decent shine up to the original from scratch.
just have a look at the screenshots, it's well balanced in dark and brights, has some nice fx like a small bloom that was made by lifting up the brightest colors in the LIFTGAMMAGAIN Section just enough not to destroy textures and just rarely using the in-built bloom effect.
i corrected the colors a lot to get a warm feeling of the sun in daylight while nights look great, too.
all text and graphics in the menus are readable like original.
i also added a very slight and balanced chromatic effect that you won't even see, but it adds to the atmosphere.
textureswere sharpened just nice enough.
now hurry up already and enjoy v1.0 of GreyAway without any second thoughts.
btw: i studied digital film and color correction and work as video editor at a tv station for 13 years now. i also created the Real Beauty Mod v1.2 for Watch Dogs, so you know what you can expect from this mod.
i look forward to deliver an even better GreyAway with a hightened GreyAway effect if you dare, so please add your experience with this mod in the comments.
