Do you want to enjoy the beautiful visuals of Arma 3 as they were intended to be seen?
Of course the answer is yes! :)
This preset will make your game look a lot better with more realistic lighting and colors, while not overdoing anything.
I used HDR, Bloom, Curves, Vibrance, LiftGammaGain and Tonemap to create more natural color balance.
SMAA and FXAA are used to reduce jaggies, but you can disable those from the settings, if you don’t like/need them.
I also added some sharpening, which can be turned off from the settings in case you don’t like the effect.
★ Install Guide ★
- Download ReShade & SweetFX 2.0: http://reshade.me/#download (Choose the SweetFX 2.0 download)
- Extract the archive
- Run ReShade Setup.exe, press Select Game, and navigate to your Arma3.exe location.
(It should automatically install DX10/DX11 version of ReShade. but if it doesn’t, just press the small dot “Direct 3D 10/11”)
- Download the preset
- Copy the preset to Arma 3\SweetFX
- Delete SweetFX_settings.txt
- Rename the downloaded preset to SweetFX_setttings.txt
- I suggest you to set in-game gamma to 1.0 and brightness to 0.6.
