[For ReShade - Added by ShaneP] Works on ReShade 4.x.x Note, you need to install ReShade to the directory portal2.exe is in and to /bin (you can select any EXE in /bin, it doesn't matter), select DX9 in both cases then copy the settings text to notepad and save in bin as a .ini file. Then load the game, and select the preset during the wizard. Note: This preset will also work well for Portal Stories: Mel and Aperture Tag Techniques used: Curves Colourfulness DPX Clarity FakeHDR AdaptiveSharpen FineSharp (Mode 3) MXAO

Falcon BMS - Better BMS

[For ReShade - Added by Heroflex] Better lighting and colour with some sharpening. Optimized for minimal performance penalty. Place the txt file you download from here in /Bin/x64 folder. Point ReShade at Falcon BMS.exe in /Bin/x64 folder. Select 'Direct3D 9' API from GUI. Opt to download shaders and check the boxes next to the following ones: AmbientLight.fx, Deband.fx, Levels.fx, LiftGammaGain.fx, LumaSharpen.fx, Sepia.fx, Tonemap.fx, then click OK. Click on 'Edit ReShade settings' Check the boxes next to 'Performance Mode' and 'Skip Tutorial'. In the 'Preset' field point it at the txt file you downloaded from here and put in /Bin/x64 VERY IMPORTANT LAST STEP! Go to /Bin/x64 one more time and rename d3d9.dll to dxgi.dll You should be good to go now. Home key opens ReShade overlay in-game. Go to the Settings tab in the overlay to set an Effect Toggle key of your choosing and perhaps set a screenshot key, path, and file type.

[For ReShade - Added by C.O.G.S] [u]Shaders Used[/u] [b]SurfaceSharpen[/b] [i](optional) LumaSharpen[/i] [b]DPX[/b] [b]ColorFilter[/b] [b]HDR[/b] [b]Tonemap[/b] [b]FXAA[/b] I know I'm way late to the party, but I thought I'd upload my preset anyways for those using ReShade 4.0 & above, although it should still work on ReShade 3.0 as well. [u]How To Install[/u] 1. First, you can get the latest version of ReShade here: https://reshade.me/ When it asks you if you want to download shaders from the repository, click yes and make sure the shaders listed above are checked. 2. You can grab the SurfaceSharpen and ColorFilter shaders here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fiiv0bk6dk1sz2h/Shaders_by_Ioxa_for_ReShade3.0.rar?dl=0 then extract them to your Shaders folder. 3. Download my preset and drop it in your The Evil Within 2 install directory. 4. Boot up the game and go through the ReShade tutorial, and when it asks you to pick a preset, choose [i]STEMFX.txt[/i] from the dropdown box 5. Enjoy! I also included LumaSharpen if you prefer that over SurfaceSharpen as it's a little more performance friendly. Just toggle SurfaceSharpen off/on with numpad *, and toggle LumaSharpen on/off with numpad /. Just make sure you don't use them both at the same time. Also, I recommend turning Filmgrain up to at least 50-60 for the overall best atmospheric look. Hope you like it!

While creating this preset I focused on one thing, creating great colour that keeps the Warhammer dark fantasy feel to the game without it looking too "juicy" Remember to do your gamma setting in game while installed. [For ReShade - Added by dearhorse085] I compiled total of 23 effects to create this distorted VHS look reminiscent of found-footage horror movies. You obviously won't be able to read any text within the game since this presets heavily modifies the visuals. I recommend playing on 640 x 480 resolution. The settings file name should be DefaultPreset.ini . Feel free to leave a comment!
